Pastor Roy directs all aspects of Worship ministries which includes service programming, adult choir, worship teams, drama, sound, media, lights, hand bell choir, ushers and greeters.  In addition special annual events that require Pastor Roy’s leadership are the Easter and  Christmas programs, Discipleship for new believers, Wedding Ministries at Moundford, Summer camps (youth or music), pool tournament, Shoebox ministry and Thanksgiving Baskets.

Roy was ordained in the Free Methodist Church in 1997.  His formal education includes a BA in Church Music from Greenville College in 1985 and a MA in Leadership and Ministry from Greenville in 2002.

Jody and Roy were married on June 2, 1985 and they have been greatly blessed with two daughters; Bethany (born September 4 1989) and Melody (born August 11, 1990).  They serve the Lord as family in worship and children’s ministries at Moundford.  Since 2003 Jody has working at Macon County Title and has worked in that venue since her graduation from Greenville (1982) with a Business Degree.  Bethany is student at Olivet Nazarene University where she is preparing to be a Children’s Pastor.  Melody is a Senior at MT Zion HS and plans to go on to college and have a focus in the medical field.

Before coming to Moundford on June 15, 2003, Roy served the Lord in ministry at Emmanuel Free Methodist Church in Janesville, Wisconsin from January 15, 1995.  Roy also served as a laymen and pastor at Wesley Free Methodist Church in Waukegan, Illinois from August 15, 1985 to December 1994.
